MHC-NP is now available online!

The immune epitope database (IEDB), the largest public database in the field of immunology, now offers MHC-NP as part of its online analysis tools. Users can upload protein sequences in fasta format to query the predictor to find out which peptides are most likely to be naturally processed by the Type I Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC-I) pathway.

This tool, developed by Sébastien Giguère and Alexandre Drouin, won the 2nd Machine Learning Competition in Immunology (2012).

The GRAAL team would like to thank Jason Greenbaum, Manager of the Bioinformatics Core at the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology, and his team for their work on integrating MHC-NP to the IEDB.

The online version of MHC-NP is available at : http://tools.immuneepitope.org/mhcnp/ and a Python package version is available at : http://graal.ift.ulaval.ca/downloads/mhcnp/.
